every time i feel normal i figure i've gotten used to the ups and downs. every time it's a down i remember that i haven't. who knew being let down by something i was apprehensive about could hurt.

i really hope i am not simply one of these things that are mundain among greatness, like the songs you skip on new cds.

new job kindof found me. new apartment found by us (hopefully).

so i am starting at papacito's today. if i like it then i have to tell bernie tomorrow that this will be my last weekend at karyn's. we are going to see an apartment tonight for the second time. jenna and i saw it yesterday and i really loved it so we are going back tonight with erin. it's in logan square... sooo, the ghetto. but hey, it's only 1100 with three big bedrooms, big living space, free washer and dryer IN UNIT, free wi-fi, free heat, and and new stove. it's above a bar, but it's a jazz and blues bar... so i don't think it'll be too bad. yeah. well i'll let everyone on here who doesn't read my journal anyway how that goes. oh yeah, and i'm transfering schools.

going home for a few days. spend a couple in richmond and a couple elsewhere. i hope to relax. i commit to trying to relax. man, i'm tired and it's only 10:45!!

the asteroids show was pretty nice. other than that, life is pretty boring right about now.

i pulled up to my work and it was closed!! BEST. DAY. EVER.

erin's coming home! ... and i really, really hope that when i pull up to my work today i find out that we are closed on the 4th and everyone just neglected to tell me... but seriously, what are the chances of that?

ohh, and last night mya, jenna, and i went to a yuppie bro party and pretended to be in a polyamourous relationship and there were a few people who really wanted to have a foursome with us... it was the most ridiculous night of my life. and we had fake names. and jobs. and basically lives. we have to do it again sometime.

i had a nap dream just now that i was riding in a car on a road that was on the coast (like, literally. the waves hit the road.) and the road turned, my driver didn't. i tried to grab the wheel but i just got the windshield wipers. we drove right into the ocean. i told her (the driver) to roll down the windows because i'd heard you can't do it once you're under water. she told me that we all have to roll our own windows down.

i woke up and it was 5 p.m. and dark. it is about to storm (hopefully).

oh man, this weekend'll be nice. i just have to make it through a few more days.

listened to nico this afternoon, it wasn't the same listening to it by myself. i love this place, but erin, without you here it just isn't the same home. i need you here so we can sit in the kitchen and listen to "these days" on repeat and eat tomato and avocado sandwiches.

in other news, i never have a day off. classes monday through thursday and work friday, saturday, and sunday. every week. fuck. me.

ohh, but jenna got a job at papacito's (sp?) today. she went in at noon and they wanted her for the 5:00 shift. so i no longer have to worry about jenna moving back home due to lack of funds.
